SACRAMENTO –Senator Steve Padilla (D-San Diego) released the following statement today following the sudden passing of Rebecca Taylor, Chair of the San Diego County Democratic Party:
“I am devastated to learn of the sudden loss of Rebecca Taylor. Rebecca was a leader in every sense of the word. Her character, her strength, and her commitment to her principles made her the fiercest advocate. Her infectious smile and bright inner light illuminated every corner of every room she entered. That light remains with all of us privileged enough to have known her, but it is our communities were the true beneficiaries of her dedication to the people of San Diego. My thoughts and my deepest condolences go out to her family and loved ones at this tragic time.”
