SACRAMENTO (June 22, 2015) – Tempted to hug the larger-than-life likeness of the only California governor to become president, Sen. Bob Hertzberg instead offers a helping hand to the statue of Ronald Reagan. "Bob is always happy to work with the opposition," one observer noted. The bronze piece was installed today in the lower rotunda of the state Capitol and, judging by the number of passersby that took selfies with Reagan on opening day, the attraction outside the Capitol gift shop promises to rival the gold Grizzly Bear outside the governor’s office.
